A session is defined as an individual sporting event, or group of individual sporting events, held in close timing to each other at one specific venue, whereby one ticket per person is sold to cover attendance.

Buying Tickets

We will go on public sale on 4th July 2017 on a first-come, first-served basis, through our official Kuala Lumpur 2017 Ticket Sales web page and we will have Venue Ticket Booths during the Games.

Most of the venues will have only one price category as they will be general admission (there will be no "assigned" seats).

You will be able to buy tickets on-line through, our 29th SEA Games 2017 official Ticket Sales web page at www.kualalumpur2017.com.my/tickets.
Children under the age of three (3) years, will not require a ticket. The parent or guardian must ensure that the child does not occupy a seat within the venue and that the child is seated on their lap at all times.
Yes. 6% GST is NOT included in the face value ticket price. It will be levied upon the final payable amount.
Tickets cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. To minimize the risk of loss, tickets will not be delivered. Please take care of your tickets as exposure to water, dirt, heat or sunlight may damage them. Should any part of a ticket become illegible, it may result in the holder being refused admission to the venue and redirected to the Venue Ticket Booth to purchase a new ticket.
Please choose your tickets carefully. Payment will be processed immediately upon submitting your ticket order. Once you have paid it is not possible to change, cancel, return or resell your tickets.
Ticket Holders must abide by the Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase and Use available on www.kualalumpur2017.com.my/tickets.
The reselling of tickets is prohibited and may result in tickets being invalidated and legal action may be taken upon the offending parties.
If a session is postponed or rescheduled, the tickets for such session shall be valid at the postponed/ rescheduled session.
If a session is postponed or rescheduled, the ticket holders may apply for a refund up to the start of the postponed or rescheduled session.
If a session is cancelled, the ticket holders may apply to Kuala Lumpur 2017 for a refund in accordance with the refund procedure, which can be found in Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase and Use document at [email protected]

Accessibility

Kuala Lumpur 2017 supports the principle of equal opportunities and access for all the provision of tickets does not discriminate against spectators with impairments.
Spectators indicating accessible needs during their ticket purchase will be allocated an accessible seating area or provided with a wheelchair space (subject to availability).
If you require more than one companion ticket, full-price will be applied for the rest of companions.

Kuala Lumpur 2017 will do our utmost to provide tickets for all Venues along with adjacent companion seating. The number of wheelchair spaces and accessible seats will vary from venue to venue, and the earlier we can have your requests, the better. We will do our utmost to allocate seats near to the accessibility areas in the venue. However, this may not be always be possible and is subject to availability, as it is general admission seating throughout all Stadiums/Venues.

Seating

Most of the sessions will be for general admission.
General admission means that you can choose your seat, in the price category you have purchased, on a first-come, first-served basis when you are inside the seating area. In venues where standing is permitted a ticket will allow you entry to that area.
General admission by sector means that you can choose your seat, in the price category and sector of the venue, which is stated on the ticket you have purchased, on a first-come, first-served basis when you are inside the seating area.
Designated accessible seating will be available in all venues.
No. All the sessions will be for general admission therefore there is no of assign seats.
For general admission venues, you will be able to choose where to sit once you are inside the venue.
For tickets that provide general admission by sector, you will be able to choose where to sit within your sector. In addition, you can tell your friends which sector to request at the Ticket Outlet or during the games at Venue Ticket Booth to be seated together (subject to availability).
Please kindly remember that early arrival at venues will allow you to occupy the best available seats.
If you are purchasing your tickets on-line via the Kuala Lumpur 2017 official Ticket Sales web page, you will receive a ticket purchase confirmation by email with details of the total number of tickets purchased and the total cost.
The sessions will be for general admission. Once you are inside the venue you may change to your desire area if you have an obstructed view or accessibility needs.

Payment and Billing

We will accept the following methods of payment:
All types of payment cards (Visa, MasterCard credit and debit) when purchasing through the official 29th SEA Games 2017 web site.
Cash and all types of payment cards (Visa, MasterCard credit and debit) at the Ticket Outlets and Venue Ticket Booths.
Tickets for the Kuala Lumpur 2017 will be conditional on certain terms and conditions. In order to purchase tickets, customers must agree to the terms and conditions. Please view the 29th SEA Games 2017 Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase and Use for full details.
Your ticket order, including your credit/debit card details, will be securely captured and stored to comply with the payment card industry’s data security standards.
The exchange rate will be the one set by your card issuer on the day that payment is processed.
Each sport on the Kuala Lumpur 2017 has established a set of criteria which athletes and teams must meet in order to obtain qualification slots for the Games.
The draws for individual and team sports will not take place until all qualifying events are complete.

In addition, during the Games all the sport competition results will be available on-line at the Kuala Lumpur 2017 official website.
Please take into consideration that as with all major sport events, tickets for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals will be in highest demand.

A preliminary session is where competitors take part in the preliminary rounds of a sport (sometimes referred to as heats). No medals will be won during these sessions.
A medal session is where competitors take part in the classification rounds of a sport. Any combination of gold, silver or bronze medals will be awarded at this stage.
Registering your details will allow us to keep you updated with ticketing information, including ticket availability and updates on any orders you may have. It will also enable us to inform you if there is any postpone or cancellation arises.
For on line purchase, no physical ticket will be issued. You are required to print out E-Ticket and present the ticket for scanning before entering the venue.
