.Ice hockey is a fast-paced, contact team sport played in an ice rink, in which two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a puck (similar function as a ball in ball games, made with vulcanised rubber), into their opponent's net to score points. Ice hockey teams usually consist of six players each: one goaltender, and five players who skate up and down the ice trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team. There is an unlimited amount of substitutions and can happen at any time during play or a stoppage of play. A typical roster size of a hockey team is about (20) players. The game is divided into three periods, first, second and third which are each twenty (20) minutes long, with intermissions in between. There will only be 1 event for the games, which is the men’s team event.
